Got a question about The Pilates Cabin?

  • The Pilates Cabin in Camberley offers full equipment Pilates, including mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Ladder Barrel, Wunda chair, Spine corrector and props.

  • We mostly offer 1:1 Pilates but you can book 2:1 sessions if you want to share with someone you know. We don’t offer group classes.

  • Absolutely! Pilates is for everyone and anyone. And I tailor each session, so you can be sure you are getting the best routine to suit your body and goals.

  • Yes, we offer 2:1 (two of you, one of me) sessions. These are ideal if you want to do Pilates with a friend, partner, or family member.

  • Most people come to The Pilates Cabin 1-2 times a week, but it’s up to you. I’m happy to advise.

  • Our youngest client is 17 and our oldest client wouldn’t thank me for sharing her age! The youngest client I can work with is 16 (for insurance reasons). There is no upper age limit for Pilates.

  • Your first session will involve a short screening to see how your body moves and responds. I’ll then tailor your programme and design your sessions. Before your first session, I’ll send you a simple form about any injuries or medical conditions.

  • There is no pressure to book a certain number of sessions, it’s totally up to you. Some people come 1-2 times a week for an indefinite amount of time, others come for a short period to rehab injury.

  • Yes, this is what I’m here for. My sessions are totally tailored to you whether you’re experienced or a first-timer. This is a great place to learn.

  • Yes, Pilates is fantastic support during pregnancy. We specialise in pre- and post-natal. In some cases you may need doctor’s approval but we can discuss all that at your initial session.

  • Please do! Let me know beforehand and I will get the studio ready with playmat, baby bouncer, and toys. Tears and tantrums are no problem!

  • Absolutely. Pilates is great for rehabbing and preventing future injuries. We hold rehabilitation Pilates qualifications and can work alongside your Physio if necessary.

  • Head to our Bookings page here. If you’ve got any questions, please email Lisa@thepilatescabin.com.

  • You can either pay in advance through our booking system, or pay on the day after your session using the payment card we have on file for you.

  • No, I don’t offer discounted blocks of sessions, but if you want to make sure you have the same time slot every week I can block it out for you (and you can pay as you go).

  • Our beautiful studio is on a quiet residential road in Camberley, on the border of Surrey, Hampshire & Berkshire (easily accessible from M3 J4 and many other routes).

  • Yes, there’s off-road parking and plenty of free parking along the road.

  • Just yourself! We provide water, towels and everything else you might need.

  • We want you to feel comfortable and relaxed, so please wear whatever you feel happy in. Ideally this would be something form-fitting (so I can see how you are moving) but it’s not essential. No shoes - barefoot or wear grippy socks if you’ve got them.

  • Unfortunately at this time we have no toilets or changing facilities, so please arrive ready for your session.

  • If you can’t attend, please cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Your session payment can then be transferred to another date. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance of your booked time, we will not be able to refund your payment. Thanks for your understanding.
